DSIT Needs You - Get Involved!

Parent involvement in your child's school is one of the most important elements of their success at school. Get involved in your child's future and stay informed as to what's new and happening at Beal City Public Schools.  

The Beal City Public School's District School Improvement Team (DSIT) is looking for your help.  Some of the items this group is responsible for is reviewing staff handbooks, student/parent handbooks, policies, procedures, textbooks, curriculum and so much more. The DSIT provides direction and assistance to the Building Level School Improvement teams as they work thru a host of issues and initiatives. These building level teams are (ESIT) Elementary School Improvement Team and (SSIT) Secondary School Improvement Team. These Building level teams give DSIT monthly updates.

The DSIT meets once a month, except for July and December or unless a meeting gets canceled for some reason. The meeting last for an hour (6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) and are held the hour before each School Board meeting. Meeting dates can be found under the Board of Education section of this website or in the front window of the school building just outside Central Office. 

Current DSIT members include: Bill Chilman - Superintendent and Parent, Erin Ludwig - Board member and parent, Tom Gross Jr. - Board member and parent, Ron Neyer - Board member, Jason Johnston- Elementary Principal and Parent, Dan Boyer - Secondary Principal, Sara Millerov - Guidance Counselor and Parent, Dennis Lorenez - St. Joe's, staff member for Title One and parent,  a rotation of a Secondary staff member, Julie Farrell - Elementary staff member.
