The girls MS track team finished 7th out of 11 teams at the Alma Panther Invite on Friday. Medalists include:

Avery Schultz - 1st in shot put

Evelyn Schafer - 1st in long jump

Olivia Kruger - 6th in 1 mile

Other notable performances include:

Alayna Sharrar - PR in the 1 mile (6:56)

Lilah Gross - PR in shot put (18.5’5)

Kenzie Maxon - PR in long jump (8’6)

4x400m Relay - Alayna, Tilly, Paris, Evelyn (5:10)

Detention today will be held in Ms. Block’s room starting at 3:00.

This Friday is “wear your future colors” day for seniors. Wear the colors of your future college, trade, workforce/job or military branch. Staff are invited to also wear their college colors as well. 

SENIOR INFO:

Important upcoming dates for our seniors: Senior’s last day (extravaganza day) - May 14th. Senior awards - May 14th at 6:00 p.m. in the small gym. Senior Mass at St. Joes - May 16th at 5:00 p.m. Graduation - May 21st at 7:00 p.m. 

JD’s Driving School of Winn has openings for a Segment I driver’s education class starting July 6th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. See Diane for details on how to sign up!  There is also a Segment II class in September on the 14th, 15th and 16th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. 

Yearbooks are on sale now! Cost is $35 and can be purchased from Mr. Clark or Mrs. Rider or from Diane in the office. 

Any current 8th - 11th grade students who are interested in joining Student Council, please complete a questionnaire that is posted on the bulletin board outside the MS/HS office and return to Mrs. Crowley by May 1st. 

Community service opportunities: St. Joe’s is looking for volunteers to help with their upcoming VBS event June 15th - 18th. Also, Dollar General in Lake Isabella has a community service opportunity available as well. See Diane in the office for more information and details on how to volunteer.
