4:00 - Varsity Baseball - Home against New Lothrop

4:00 - Varsity Softball - Away against McBain - Bus departs at 2:00 - Students dismissed at 1:50

The girls middle school track & field team faced off against Pine River and Manton yesterday. Highlights include:

Aubrey Block - 3rd in 200m
Olivia Kruger - 3rd in 1 mile
Alayna Sharrar - 4th in 1 mile
Kenzie Maxon - 4th in 100m
Taylor Sanders - 2nd in 70m
Avery Schultz - 2nd in shot put
Evelyn Schafer - 1st in long jump
4x200m relay 2nd - Evelyn, Aubrey, Tilly, Taylor

The boys middle school track team beat Lake City 77-60 and lost to McBain 97.5-48.5 at last night's track meet.

 Highlights from last night are:

Brady Gross - 1st place in the 70m and 2nd in the 200m

Ryder Sternquist - 2nd place in the 200m and 1st in the 400m

Conley Bland 2nd - in the 800m

Leam Millerov - 2nd in the 55m hurdles and the 200m hurdles

Gregg Martin - 3rd in the pole vault (with a PR)

Tomorrow is “wear your future colors” day for seniors. Wear the colors of your future college, trade, workforce/job or military branch. Staff are invited to also wear their college colors as well. 

Next week is teacher appreciation week! We have some of the hardest-working, most dedicated teachers you will ever meet! Please try and show your appreciation in some way. A small, hand-written note of thanks can go a long way!

Important upcoming dates for our seniors: Senior’s last day (extravaganza day) - May 14th. Senior awards - May 14th at 6:00 p.m. in the small gym. Senior Mass at St. Joes - May 16th at 5:00 p.m. Graduation - May 21st at 7:00 p.m.

JD’s Driving School of Winn has openings for a Segment I driver’s education class starting July 6th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. See Diane for details on how to sign up!  There is also a Segment II class in September on the 14th, 15th and 16th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. 

Yearbooks are on sale now! Cost is $35 and can be purchased from Mr. Clark or Mrs. Rider or from Diane in the office. 

Any current 8th - 11th grade students who are interested in joining Student Council, please complete a questionnaire that is posted on the bulletin board outside the MS/HS office and return to Mrs. Crowley by 3:00 TOMORROW.
