Aggie fans: If there are 100 students in the blue crew tonight, and 100 students on Thursday and we win the regional, Mr. Gatrell is going to shave his head at the conclusion of the season this year. He will allow his players to give him this special haircut at school for all to see!
The 7th grade Lady Aggies basketball team won in overtime last night at Houghton Lake, 52-39. Evelyn Schafer had an amazing 31 point game. Piper Pritchard added 11 and Elyse Ervin had 7, including a three in overtime to give the Aggies momentum.
Lexi Fussman’s birthday is this Saturday. It would be great if we could send her cards so she knows we are thinking of her while she is in the hospital. If you would like to make or buy a birthday card for Lexi, we will get them to her on Saturday. Please bring them to Diane in the office by 3:00 on Friday. Thank you!
Detention today will be held in Ms. Polish’s room starting at 3:00.
NHS meeting tomorrow, Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. in the reset room.
Permission slips for the middle school lock in are due to Ms. Gohs by the end of the day tomorrow, Wednesday.
Students: If you receive a pink lunch detention slip during your 4th or 5th hour class, you MUST serve lunch detention that day. Lunch detention is not optional and will double if you skip.
Step up for School Wellness: Tip of the day - A quick stretch or walk between classes can boost your mood and energy. Movement doesn’t have to be long to be helpful!
The middle school dance will be held in the small gym from 3:00-5:00pm on Friday, March 13th. Tickets will be sold at middle school lunch next week, Monday through Thursday. Tickets are $5 and include the dance, games, one entry for raffle prizes, and pizza. Pop will be sold for $1 and the 6th grade class will be holding a bake sale during the event. See Ms. Polish with any additional questions.
Due to Mt. Pleasant’s altered exam schedule, Tech Center students will not have class on Wednesday. Mt. Pleasant schools are closed on Friday, so you will not have class on Friday as well.
Attention current 10th and 11th grade students: February 25th, you were emailed a link from Mrs. Millerov to sign up for the Tech Center next year. If you're interested in attending a program next year, you will need to fill this out by March 6th for priority registration! If you do NOT plan to go next year, please disregard the email. Thank you!
NHS is hosting a blood drive Thursday, March 5th from noon - 5:45 p.m. at the KC Hall. If you are 16 years or older and meet the minimum requirements, see Ms. Gohs for details on how you can donate!
6th - 8th grade boys interested in signing up for the Beal City Baseball camp can pick up a registration form in the office. The forms are due by March 11th. Cost is $30 and the camp will be held March 21st and 22nd from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
