Today in Sports:
6:00 - Varsity Girls’ Basketball - Home against Lake City
7th grade girls basketball team got their first loss last night to a very tough McBain team. The team played hard, full court basketball all four quarters. Leading scorers were Evelyn Schafer had 17 points and Elyse Ervin had 8 points.
The 8th grade girls’ basketball team fell to McBain last night. Aylin Reihl led the scoring with 12 points followed by Cylie Tillman with 7.
The varsity boys’ basketball team defeated Manton by the score of 72 to 57 last night. The scoring is led by Cuyler Smith with 23, Grady Gatrell with 15 and Drake Gatrell with 11.
The JV boys’ traveled to Manton and took one on the chin, 33-48 last night. Scoring was led by Camren Gross with 11 points who also wore the hard hat for the night.
Detention today will be in Mrs. Block’s room starting at 3:00.
There will not be a GSA meeting this week.
There is a sign up sheet on the athletic office window for any boys in grades 9-12 who are interested in participating in baseball this spring.
