The middle school girls track team had a meet against Houghton Lake and Evart on Wednesday. Highlights include:

Taylor Sanders - 3rd in 70m, 3rd in 200m

Aubrey Block -4th in 70m

Evelyn Schafer - 1st in 400m, 1st in long jump

Paris Knickerbocker - 3rd in 400m

Tilly Schafer - 4th in 400m, 4th in long jump

Olivia Krueger - 2nd in 800m and a PR, 1st in 1 mile

Avery Schultz - 1st in shot put

4x200m relay 1st - Evelyn, Aubrey, Tilly, Taylor

Additional congratulations to the girls who qualified for MEGASTARS this meet:

Avery Schultz - Shot put with a throw of 35’6.25

Evelyn Schafer - long jump with a jump of 14’4 

JD’s Driving School of Winn has openings for a Segment I driver’s education class starting July 6th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. See Diane for details on how to sign up!  There is also a Segment II class in September on the 14th, 15th and 16th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. 

Yearbooks are on sale now! Cost is $35 and can be purchased from Mr. Clark or Mrs. Rider or from Diane in the office. 

Any current 8th - 11th grade students who are interested in joining Student Council, please complete a questionnaire that is posted on the bulletin board outside the MS/HS office and return to Mrs. Crowley by May 1st. 

Community service opportunities: St. Joe’s is looking for volunteers to help with their upcoming VBS event June 15th - 18th. Also, Dollar General in Lake Isabella has a community service opportunity available as well. See Diane in the office for more information and details on how to volunteer.
