Mrs. Patty Carrick

Meet Mrs. Carrick!

Mrs. Patty Carrick has worked at Mayes Elementary School since 1994.  Ten of those years have been spent as a Teacher Assistant in the preschool classroom.  Mrs. Carrick worked as a dental assistant for six years prior to being hired by Beal City Public Schools.  She also graduated from Beal City.  She attended college and has 120 undergraduate hours in Early Childhood Education.

Mrs. Carrick lives in Beal City with her husband Dan.  He is employed as a welder/electrician at Bandit Industries.  They have two sons.  Jason, works for Block Electric, and Patrick, is presently with the US Army.  Mrs. Carrick and her family enjoy riding quad runners, snowmobiles, hunting, fishing, and relaxing at their cabin.

Mrs. Carrick has many interests and hobbies.  Favorite outdoor activities include bike riding, running, and camping.  She also used to hunt with her two boys.  Mrs. Carrick loves to sit with family and friends and play Texas Hold’em Poker, and any kind of card game.  Watching football, and wrestling are two additional activities enjoyed by Mrs. Carrick.  She listens and dances to Oldies music.  She likes to eat any kind of potato and reads inspirational books, especially written by Joyce Meyer whom she also watches on TV.

Mrs. Carrick enjoys traveling.  Her sisters, Betty and Karen, and a friend Chris take turns every year choosing a destination to visit in the U.S.  Thus far, they have been to Chicago, Myrtle Beach, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Kentucky, Wisconsin, New Jersey, Missouri, the U.P. and Georgia.
