Hi Seniors,

Congratulations!  I know you're excited to get out of here and get on with your lives, but there's one more thing you should do before heading out.  This won't take long!  We need to make sure that you get a copy of your Google stuff to take with you.  

Here's how to transfer your school Gmail and Drive data to another, personal account.  If you want to do this you should first create your own, personal Gmail account if you don't already have one.  You can do that here:  https://accounts.google.com/SignUp?service=mail&continue=https%3A%2F%2Fmail.google.com%2Fmail%2F&ltmpl=default  Once you have a personal account to transfer to, follow the directions here:  https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6386856.  Here's the link to Google Takeout, which is what's used to do the actual transfer:  https://takeout.google.com/transfer.  If you're more of a visual learner I've created a video on the process here:  https://youtu.be/5dbkJTynNFw.
