Media Center News
Welcome to the Beal City Media Center. We are a K-12 facility and serve over 600 students! We have over 9,000 books, many audio books, and a number of magazines available for students and staff to check out. This year we are also bar-coding all the textbooks so that in future years those can also be centrally checked out by the students.
The Media Center contains separate collections of elementary and secondary books and magazines as well as housing 2 small computer labs; one has 6 computers and the other contains 10.
Mrs. Rau, the media specialist, is always looking for ways to encourage kids to read! We are very active with Accelerated Reader and the kids seem to enjoy it very much. She also does booktalks to the secondary Language Arts classes and hopes to get them reading more.
